I like this fight. Would be close. It is kind of a cop out from Roach since Manny fights at WW but he could still lose to Garcia

I'm not saying Danny can't surprise us. He's done it 2 or 3 times already. However when you have problems with Zab and Herrera, Pacquiao might be too much. I'm not hatin' on Danny, but of all the talent at WELTERWEIGHT (Manny is a WW champion), to call out Danny Garcia is mad weak! Thurman has an interim belt at WW, Porter has a belt at WW, why pick the guy with the belt at JR WW?

Typical is a good word, but inadequate. Bull**** might be better. I can't see how you can overlook Thurman, Porter, and Maidana, and come up with DANNY GARCIA. Just yesterday, Roach was saying Canelo could be done at 150. I knew then he didn't want it, because he knows Canelo can't make 150. I still think Broner would be a better matchup with Manny at 140 than Garcia. Garcia looked real average in PR against Herrera.

if roach would have said Thurman, porter, khan then a lot of people would say what about garcia. Roach said after the bradley fight that pac might go back down to lw or jww. Garcia being undefeated and popular would be a perfect match.

Malignaggi and Alexander couldn't punch themselves out of a wet paper bag.

Porter did what many other fighters should have done a long time ago (especially against Malignaggi), storm and walk through them and unload haymakers.

If its at 140-not likely given swift is moving up-it would be a better fight than at 147 IMO. If they make it, I'll watch.

Using assumption simply because I am a floyd fan to criticize a post is incredibly weak.

Before the Herrera fight most people on NSB figured floyd v danny would be a decent fight. SInce the Herrera fight those same posters, including me, have a different opinion of what type of fight floyd v danny would be.

For roach to mention the fight for the 1st time now, with danny coming off the herrera performance is incredibly opportunistic. I would still watch it because its a good style matchup. I wouldn't give Danny as much of a chance after seeing Hererra trouble him so much.

That's because Floyd is boring as **** and would pot shot and clinch all night against the slow ass Garcia.

At least PAC would **** him up.

Also people saying he should fight Thurman next next... i hate pulling this ***** card but who has he beat? His best win is Soto Karass, PAC isnt going to be a stepping stone for some guy who's barely contender status. Porter and Khan are good fights and I dont see why does wouldnt be made other than the fact they were both Pacs sparring partners.

Didn't Thurman's last opponent give Khan the business? I think Diego Chaves and Jesus Soto-Karass are very decent WWs. Thurman just needs a shot from anybody, Porter, Floyd, or Manny. He can't even get a fight Khan. If Manny wants to be a WW champion, fight the best in the division! The cold war is ending and you want the Jr. WW champion? C'mon Son!

funny because when pac was getting ready to fight bradley again, dunn kept complaining about how he would rather want to see pac face off with ruslan instead since it will be someone new. well manny has never fought danny before but here's dunn complaining about it LOL!!!
