Why Lemieux vs Quillin?

People just don't like Quillin and want to see him get KO'd. If they ever fight and Quillin beats him the same people will tell you that Lemieux wasn't any good to begin with and Quillin needs to step up and fight someone.

Lemieux has already shown his limited ability. The boy can dish it out OK against lesser opposition but he doesn't know how to take a punch and his defence is very suspect to say the least. I expect Quillin to go life and death with him but eventually come out on top.

GGG has failed to stop guys himself who have been knocked out by lesser punchers, it happens.

He is still a kid & was probably out partying. His stamina would suspect he wasn't as dedicated as he should be.

I'm not saying he great by any stretch, he is crude as hell but you can't question this kids power, surely? Just about everytime he touches a guy they are on the deck or their face is left disfigured. He has huge power

Everyone he touches except Rubio and Alcine, his 2 best opponents. When Lem was coming up i thought he would be the top MW in a few years, but as almost always he was yet to face any adversity and a fighter who just took his punches and another who has an annoying style beat him

He don't beat any of those guys, not one & I'd bet real money on that. He is Euro level, seriously.
Outside of workrate he does nothing particularly well.

Quillin & Jacobs K.O him with ease, N'Dam takes him to school.

Based on beating better fighters. But KOing Guerrero who has the worst chin in boxing and been down 15 times is more impressive. Even if you quit against rubio and git outboxed against Alcine

Anyway, I'm not against Golovkin-Lemieux but Geale is the more accomplished fighter, former world champ who holds a win over the current #2 (Sturm) and is actually ranked by the WBA.


Damn you for bringing that up. I think Stevens was only his second fight at middle. Pretty sure he was at light middle for most part. He was stunned, rocked definitely but I personally feel he should of been allowed to continue. Then again I thought the Froch vs Groves stoppage wasn't all that bad so that probably makes me bias/sound rather hypocritical.

Did you watch Quillin v Konecny? Imagine Konecny's workrate with punches that actually landed. Geale has too much for Quillin.

I actually missed that fight but will check it out after dinner Kocency has a beard though he was the much smaller man. I seriously have no faith in Geales chin. He has hide it much better as of late but its only a matter of time before someone gets through

Geale beats all of them. He's far more tested than all of them and beaten better opponents. Quillin has no skill. Jacobs is ok but I have serious doubts he'd survive 12 rounds of Geale. N'Dam probably gets worn out and stopped.

Geale isn't stopping anybody. He has no pop. He hits like a little girl.
N'Dam don't have a great chin either but who needs one when matched against Geale, hes a solid boxer & far more skilled the mediocre and vastly overrated Geale. He would easily outbox him.

Geale has a good engine but that is it.
Skills, power, speed, punch resistance everything else is average at best.

Regardless of resumes and him getting an official nod over Sturm I think Macklin would beat him. He is a better fighter than Geale as is Barker, Murray, N'Dam and the likes.
That is where I have him half a step below the Brit pack. Capable of being competitive with all of them but ultimately losing more often than not.

I will give GGG some credit as it is a step up from his recent string of opponents but for me Macklin will be the better win especially with the fashion he did it in.

He is very beatable and very crude but he is improving and has game changing power. He is always going to have trouble with guys who can take his power & use movement. The intrigue to me lies with the early stages of GGG vs Lemieux.
Its not going long enough for his questionable stamina to be a factor and hes not going to have to go looking for GGG

Lemuiex brings the fight, and is usually pretty exciting, win or lose.....

He had a great performance last night, and deserve to get a high profile fight vs one of the champs..

I have no faith the Geale fight will go ahead, its already fell apart half a dozen times.

Does anybody really care for that fight? Sure Geale is a top 10 guy but he is no threat, his chins almost on par with Fernando Guerreros.

N'dam has amateur footwork(still good enough to give Quillin problems Lol) and a weak beard. Geale has a good inside game and would time and catch him over and over. N'Dam could get worn down for the stoppage or just lose a wide decision.

What is with you guys anyway? All these guys are fine opponents for Quillin but not GGG but its cool GGG fights even lesser guys.
