Just as it was postponed twice before, the Vernon Paris-Cleotis "Mookie" Pendarvis bout scheduled for Friday is a no-go.

Only this time, the fight will not be rescheduled.

Instead, two six round bouts featuring prospects will take place.

Super middleweights Jose Hernandez and Mike Guy will square off in the main event. Each fighter has an identical record of 6-1-1, with 3 knockouts.

In the other six round bout, middleweight John Hays (4-1-3) will face unbeaten Aaron Coley (8-0, 5 KOs).

I lied Vernon Paris, was pretty surprised the way ZAb destroyed him.

Just goes to show, style and toughness means a lot, but you don't have the physicality to be a top fighter, nothing else matters.

This sucks. An acquaintance of mine at the barbershop who is also a boxing trainer got free tickets for me and my barber to see this. Oh well...
