Floyd knew to handle the fight better and Chino still goes on to say he's the true winner... As Angel Garcia would say "Da Troof is da Troof"

He surprised all his critics and made them eat dry crow for breakfast.

It was a good effort which would've been more meaningful had he tried to win in a less dirty fashion.

No you weren't the true winner of the fight. You clearly lost but you put up a good game plan- to foul Floyd. In all fairness you tried and did good at times Marcos but you lost.

the same people saying that maidana lost, or only won a few rounds, are the same people that support bradley's 8-4

when it comes to the castillo fight, stats means nothing but when it comes to the maidana fight, stats shows you who is the winner, thatīs how it works, right?

I don't think so. Most people felt Bradley lost, and that Pacquaio won. Just like most people felt Mayweather won, and Maidana lost.

But if you really wanted to argue that flawed point of view though, you're better off comparing it to something like Pacquaio vs. Marquez 3. Lots of folks felt Marquez won, even though Pacquaio got the decision. But even then, that fight was very different. Marquez was winning rounds based on clean effective punching, outsmarting his opponent, good defense, etc.

He deserves the attention from fans for the fight. He still lost the fight, I watched it again the other night and Mayweather lands cleaner shots and takes over the 2nd half of the fight. No doubt it was a rough, tough encounter and that is due to Maidana and his workrate. His conditioning has improved a great deal too.
                Good post.

Floyd beat Castillo in their first fight easier than he beat Maidana.

It doesn't matter what opponent tried that style against Floyd cuz it doesn't work. The majority of judges do not score a few body shots over clean head shots. Just the reality. These guys have to find a way to hit Floyd in the face consistently or they lose every time.

Well said sr. Chino!!! Fight should have been a draw if you ask me! I get the concept of "you gotta beat the champ" but the champ also maintain the level of skills. To me chino made floyd look average that night!!! No way jr gives chino a rematch. Jr gona cherry pick khan or swift
