Beating Collazo doesn't deserves him for a Floyd Sweepstake. Collazo was expected to loose in that fight to make Khan look good. If he beats Guerrero then I will say he can take Floyd next. Yeah Khan beat Maidana but he run Bambi-like for the last 2-3 rounds in that bout. He was lucky that no more round left, otherwise he will loose via KO/TKO. His credentials for his previous fights doesn't look good to me. He only look good in that Collazo fight but again, he doesn't deserve a Floyd fight, I mean not yet.

A lot of people thought Collazo would beat Khan because of the way Collazo stopped Ortiz in 2 rounds in his last fight. They thought that Collazo would stop Khan too, especially considering it was Khan's first fight at 147 and he'd been inactive for 13 months.

The funny thing is that I think if Collazo had beaten Khan then a lot of people would be calling for Floyd vs Collazo, because Collazo would have just beaten Ortiz + Khan back to back.

I admire Khan in this aspect, He also says that isnt about the money. The first time they'll fight he won't be getting much. If the best fighter of this generation @ 147 is ready to quit, you have to do what you have to do to get it done. I respect his fanatism he really wants that fight to test himself against the best. You maybe right, but majority of boxing fans assuming that Ortiz might be a damaged good already after his back to back KO/TKO lost in the hand of Floyd & Josesito Lopez. Collazo was also there to built Ortiz's morale & confidence. Unfortunately, all the assumption to Ortiz was proved to be right. Infact his own promoter Delahoya asked him to retire from boxing after his lost to Collazo. Inshort, Collazo beat the washed up/Damaged good/Mentally weakened Ortiz. The real test for Amir is Porter, Thurman or Matthysse but those are heavy hitter that makes them so dangerous for Amir's suspected glass chin so I prefer Alexander, Guerrero or his Brit rival Brook. If he beat one of them bigtime @ 147, Then, I can say he already deserve to be on line for Floyd Sweepstake

That's not True, even if he beat Khan bigtime, there is no way he deserves to fight Floyd.
Aside form TR's fighters, a Rematch w/ Maidana, Martinez, Rematch w/ Cotto (if he wins against Martinez), Thurman, or Porter under GBP will be more appeling in the eyes of Boxing fans than the Collazo bout.

If you have that much desire, fight him September. It was Khan who siad he can't fight him is September due to religious reasons. Floyd's not gonna wait around, and Khan needs a fight before May 2015. Go get Thurman and then Floyd really has no choice.

I think the whole Khan's team will reject Thurman. He is a hard hitting guy. I guess he will fight Malignaggi again. lol. A fight w/ Guerrero make sense to me.
