Stiverne takes it. He has fought better opposition, went past 8 rds a few times, he has decent skills and he can punch. I also like his poise in the ring. I'd say the style-matchup favors Wilder though: a devastating right hand with a big height and reach advantage could spell trouble for Stiverne.
However, championship-level boxers don't crumble as soon as they get him, no matter how hard you hit. Wilder has fought mostly poor opposition and has never gone the distance. It could be his downfall, unless he can catch Stiverne with something big.

Wilder was dropped by Harold Sconiers.

I really wonder about Wilder's chin.

if Wilder can pull this one off then damn. after all this time, it sure is setting up nicely.

but, let's see... I think we will see Bermane go forward in that fight, and Wilder's computer will malfunction...he hasn't been doing it lately but it looks from previous tapes that he can go forward against taller fighters. Even though he is short, that right can cover ground when that is what he's trying to do.

and then even if he doesn't come forward, I think he is capable of just standing there letting Wilder wind-up and start throwing at the same time with him. He will just try to run him into shots...if Wilder becomes gunshy then who is he

This is where Stiverne could run into trouble. He likes to sit back and let his opponents come into range, but Wilder is not Arreola. He has a long reach, faster punches, and uses his legs better than Arreola does. Arreola had Stiverne stunned in the third round. No matter how good Stiverne's chin is, he can't take too many shots from Wilder. Stiverne has to fight aggressively this time.

I can't imagine anyone voting for Stiverne out of honesty. There's a bizarre hatred for Wilder.

All this talk about Wilders power is because that is all he has.
If we're honest hes knocking out nightschool janitors & is 'fighting' paid off actors who are finding a soft spot on the mat to lay down on.
Just about any half decent HW with power does the same to those bums.
                David Rodriguez did it too.

Stiverne just obliterated the iron chinned Arreola, effortlessly, he don't need to load up and throw his shots from the back row. That impresses me far more than a guy who is bowling over guys so damn fat they need a crane to get them in the ring.

The thing is Stiverne has skills to compliment his power. Wilder don't. He is just an overgrown Charlie Z
it sounds harsh, an overstatement but its the truth. He is garbage!

He is overgrown rubbish who overreaches with everything he throws.
Wilders balance, everything is a mess. Stiverne K.O's him inside a few rounds.

Wilder might get lucky 1 time out if 10, he does have power. They fight 10 times I fully expect Stiverne stops him 9 times out of 10 and inside the first 6, most likely 2.

Did you see Chris drilling right through his guard, at will? Wilder needs to do that only twice and it's over.

deontay must learn defense! stiverne may be able to negate much of deontay's force by bending at the waist!
Bigger? When is the last time extra mass has ever worked to anyones advantage at heavyweight? Pretty sure never.

Just makes him get tired quicker. Stiverne reminds me of Andre Berto. Thinks he is slick. Is explosive, and quick so fools quite a few people, but is not that difficult to hit, doesn't take a punch particularly well, and thinks he is slick like Floyd.

That looking right hand from Wilder will have no problem finding him.

For real? Who has Wilder beat that makes you think he is the only real 100% pick to win?
