I'd love to see Dre fight either guy.

      Ward doesn't love boxing anymore.
He's bored -- he said he's for 20 years now in the sport and could even retire...
He wants easy fights for big purses -- otherwise he sits back...
(Golovkin is an easy fight for Ward. Chavez too.)

Andre Ward damn he still fighting?

With all the dudes this guy has beaten, you'd think he'd be way further up the food chain than where he is now.

I guess nobody close to him has the balls to tell him he's an acquired taste.

Understood Andre but you're just sitting around and talking you sound worse than Khan (haha khan is cool tho). Your next fight more than likely won't be on PPV buddy so just get back in there. There's no one left at 168 and supposedly Golovkin is ducking you so sign something man or move up

hbo did this. they can't pay him much more than that without ppv.
HBO overpaid him, now every Tom, **** and Stevenson is asking for $2 million. I doubt they make the same mistake again with Ward.

Everyone wants to see Ward back in the ring, what no one wants to see is his sense of entitlement because frankly he doesn't have the fanbase to support it.

He got 2 million for edwin rodriguez. he's going to want more for kovalev and golovkin. hbo can't pay him much more than that unless he's on ppv.

you're going to blame andre ward for taking a two million dollar paycheck to fight edwin rodriguez? blame HBO, who is clearly trying to develop a relationship with the guy that they think will be the next p4p.
It's probably abundantly clear to HBO at this point that Ward is not going to be a PPV "star". He's more Bradley than Mayweather and he has no Pacquiao in his division to get those big paydays as a B-side.

Moreover, Mayweather said he's trying to move to Haymon and Showtime at the weekend.

The guy is vastly overestimating his worth.

Assuming he's able to secure any of them which doesn't seem likely at present.
