There is a mexican american fighting for a piece of the HW title next weekend so it will be interesting to see what the ratings are. Hopefully they are good so we keep getting big fights on the channel.

What two non-American heavyweights are doing good numbers on ESPN on a Saturday afternoon in a country where Emanuel Steward's death didn't make most local newspapers? I don't know. I'm just asking. It's a terrible time slot with almost no promotion. It shouldn't have done good numbers. And I assumed it wouldn't. For what it was the numbers really aren't bad, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm just glad they show fights. It's too bad in didn't do better because poor ratings is never a good thing. Especially in america where they pull the plug quickly on shows with low ratings.

It didn't look like the usual klitschko crowd either. Looked like a half empty arena. They wouldn't shine the lights on the entire arena. Only the lower bowl. I wonder what the paid attendance & gate was?

yea,,,I wonder how many casual fans even knew it was on. going to take more than one event. hopefully the arreola stiverne fight will get more views and it takes off from there. got to put more previews on to get the people more aware

Wlad doesn't live in America and doesn't fight here anymore either. Fans have little reason to be interested. Pacquiao is one of the biggest names in the sport, but taking his fight to Macau caused them to lose out on a lot of interest stateside.

Klitschko does great numbers in Europe, where he lives and fights. He doesn't need to worry about views in America.

That was a terrible night on HBO when they showed Wlad/Povetkin, then Crawford/Whoever that random guy he fought was.
