Floyd is an ATG, the best of our era and a fan favorite and one of the best boxers to ever lace them up. As an ATG, I expect you to come back to beat a fighter convincingly after you went life and death with him because that's how a great would erase all doubt and make a statement in the ring. Floyd fought Castillo again and beat him soundly. If Floyd did the same to Maidana his greatness would not be questioned, but if he doesn't, do you think his legacy takes a hit in any way?

Well I had him winning clearly so I don't see how it would, it's a good fight though and it's likely gonna happen.

It wouldn't hurt his legacy because most people thought Floyd won there's not really huge clamour for a rematch.
But the rematch likely does happen anyway.

He won the fight. And most ringside observers had him winning. I would like to see a rematch but there's no controversy with the scores. There's no harm to his legacy.

No he clearly won against a guy who's own corner told him to fight dirty...Floyd is 37 years old and his legacy has been established....11 time champion, 4 division lineal champion 46-0
