Mayweather's great, one of the greatest, but last night put a halt on all this TBE, untouchable, master magician perfect fighter with no flaws that no one can compete with crap that people actually jumped on board with after the Alvarez fight. Mayweather has his flaws, and Maidana reminded anyone who forgot them. Guys like Maidana that don't show him respect and can keep him uncomfortable have always given Floyd tough fights.

What I've been saying for years......I was a fan of Floyd in his early years, but it was obvious that he wasn't a level above like the public started believing.....his defense first mentality, low output, limited arsenal, small size and lack of power make him very beatable...especially at the higher weights...he is more tricky than amazing..especially when he can lay on the ropes without throwing, get hit with partial shots and get credit for a "more flashy than effective" counter right.

^^This. He has his flaws and Maidana's fighting style is his main flaw. If you can cut off the ring well, and pressure him on the inside and pushing him against the ropes without giving him too much space to set up his counter shots, then you have a good chance of making him uncomfortable and beating him on workrate.

The only old ways Floyd is going back to in the rematch is Floyd will grow older while Maidana will grow even more confident.
