I don't believe this at all, it's what he said after cotto gave him a tough fight. If that was his intention why couldn't he tell us before the fight? Or do it in a bigger more meaningful fight like the Alvarez one.

LAS VEGAS --- Floyd Mayweather wasn't exactly complimentary of the job referee Tony Weeks did during his fight against Marcos Maidana on Saturday night at the MGM Grand.

Well Money that shhh works both ways, yeah we saw him with the looping shots but we also saw you with the forearms and the elbows trying to push it off so if it's good for the goose it's good for the gander. It's called veteran tactics same tactics you use when pressed by a bigger man so you can swing off the ropes or initiate your counter punches when against the ropes. Weeks was terrible, but that's the type of fight that Maidana had to made in order to had any type of success, Weeks stayed out of the way and let Maidana fought his fight. You can cross out Weeks off your list in any future Floyd's fights from now on.

What the hell are you talking about? Weeks robbed Maidana of his inside game and allowed floyd to hold. Even when they both had an arm free he separated them when by the rules he's supposed to let them fight out. The ref was like mayweathers tag team partner if you want to talk about the rules.

I saw both Floyd and Maidana holding on for dear life several times. The ref once pulled Maidana so hard to get him to release Floyds arem that both were pulled several feet across the ring.
