It wouldn't be anywhere close to the biggest upset ever, and people need to stop with that kind of talk.

I can't speak for casuals, or anyone else for that matter, but what makes you think me or anyone else is basing that off of the Broner fight? That's as ****** as saying Maidana is going to lose and basing it off of the Devon fight.

It has to be..if maidana never had fought broner and got his shot at mayweather, after beating lopez i dont think very many people would think he would win...the broner win is what are making maidana fans believe he could beat floyd...i mean cmon people are on here saying maidana can get past the "shoulder roll!" Cmon man where would people get that from?? Its obvious man, i shouldnt have tk tell you. Lmao even floyd sr said broner dont know how to do the shoulder roll! Now maidana can get past maweathers shoulder roll...? Not saying you think or said that, but dont be in denial people are picking maidana after his fight with broner, not lopez!

And i know maidana is way better now then when he fought alexander and besides alexander and may's style are totally different while broner's style is similar to floyds, so what you stated is pretty dumb.

C'mon Chino ain't winning. This is from my observation Floyd is just on a higher level. Floyd will be using his footwork and timing and pot shotting Maidana to a wide UD.

I will eat my words if some Maidana miraculously defeat Mayweather because he will need a miracle.

Well maybe your gif of maidana knocking down broner is whats making me think that.. why not post a gif of maidana beating lopez? I think its pretty obvious you think maidana could beat floyd based on the broner fight, i mean its right there in a gif for everyone to see.!

Screw What It Means To Floyd If He Loses; Maidana Takes On All Comers!

Just like a champion should. Floyd extends NO rematches to anyone, so screw him on his own rematch clause. Toss the belt in the trash to whomever claims you need to extend a rematch. The people still recognize you as the man. Maidana has a lot of pride and he'd waste no time unifying with Pacquiao, fighting Porter, etc. None of the game playing, head games Floyd plays with anyone who'd listen. That's what the division needs again. A champion willing to fight the best of the best; the welterweight division would be more healthy than during Floyd's tenure. Today guys sit around and hope Floyd calls them with a winning lottery number, which is poor for Boxing especially when Floyd won't fight the best. With Maidana in charge, that brings the divisions best back into play. Pacquiao, Porter, Provo, Bradley, Thurman, Garcia, Matthysee, all get shots and start fighting amongst themselves. As it is today's, guys are afraid to take a tough fight, because they want to position themselves for a payday with Floyd. Khan wouldn't fight anyone hoping for one shot with Floyd.

It wouldn't be anywhere near an all-time upset, i agree. That being said, after watching maidana vs. alexander again, i cannot see how maidana can win a round, let alone the fight. God he looked awful and mayweather is just as slick.

Only three scenarios possible where Maidana could win: Floyd getting caught with a head shot that he didn't see (hard to imagine), a punch had a force he did not expect could happen, or a body shot, or age catches up to him and his legs start weakening from a brutal attack, that is if Maidana can launch and sustain such an attack against a defensive wizard.

Anything can happen, but I just don't see any of these scenarios playing out. Even though most think it is practically impossible for Mayweather to stop Maidana because he doesn't score KO's, if a fighter is countered enough, they can be stopped. Not an impossible outcome.

Even though Maidana has improved over his last few fights, he still loops his punches and though he is deceptive at times because he uses angles which is a plus for him, he is not impossible to predict and until I see otherwise, a fighter is going to have to be impossible to predict, meaning lightning speed, timing, and accuracy to beat Floyd because he at this point knows how to premeditate a punch with a lot of force but lacking speed. One thing is certain, Maidana will not stop bringing the heat, for better or worse. But Floyd UD is the most viable outcome.

Lol.. People believe Maidana has a chance. What a joke. He'll go hard, win 3 of first 4, then gas out as Floyd coasts to a UD.
