I don't watch the sport and couldn't care any less about it. I just remember the number being lower than expected. Millions, not billions.
It certainly appeared that way to me since you're trying to present supposed facts to another poster without a source.

Clearly it did since you responded with this. You're clearly implying that his history wouldn't impede his ability to be part of a new ownership, which I clearly disagreed with.

Also note, Floyd's "history" won't stop anyone from doing anything. If you think the Clippers owner is the only bad person who owns a team, you are clearly ignorant.

Clearly you are trying to flip this around since you realized all of your rants are moot.

This has nothing to do with the fact that the team is not worth billions but millions. You know it. I know it. But keep ranting on about the NBA owners and how they don't allow bad people to own teams.

      Carry on.

ok ok let me get this straight,

we are gonna replace a white racist with a black racist?

        Ok.

I guess asians and foreigners wont be allowed in the games if floyd is the owner, considering his past statements about asians and foreigners (well documented).

        also, i forgot about africans.

floyd also dont like africans (also well documented).

Actually I'm not. I never said the franchise was worth billions. I never even tried to dispute that matter. You tried to present some "number" you read somewhere from x days ago to try and make a point. I presented a more accurate number as to what the Clippers actual value is.

You then tried to make some backhanded comment about how Floyd's public perception as a racist wouldn't impede his ability to be part of a new ownership and I disagreed.

Jay Z and Jordan's cases aren't related to racism, I don't know why you're using those analogies. The point is the league would look bad if they ousted sterling for his supposed racist remarks and allowed Floyd to be part of the new ownership group given his history in the matter.

I don't know where you're going with your third point. We're discussing ownership, not players. If a player said something racist they'd get fined and maybe suspended. When an owner says something racist people want new ownership.
Floyd's rant was like 4-5 years ago and I don't think anyone really cared outside of boxing. You're comparing something that is all over the media for 2-3 days already to a wannabe youtube video from years ago. The rebranding of the Nets with Jay-Z has entirely revamped the image of them as a little brother team. Since we are just wildly speculating what the NBA owners would do anyway, I'm pretty sure the NBA would jump at the chance to rebrand another redheaded stepchild team in the Clippers with the flair of the whole "Money" persona.

A number that was fairly accurate as appose to being worth billions. The point of my original post.

You can disagree to such but it doesn't change the fact that it's moot to my original post. Clearly.

If you added up all the Showtime money in addition to all the purses from his past fights, he still wouldn't have enough to buy the Clippers, or any other NBA team for that matter.

Floyd doesn't even get commercials, and these lames expect him to be a brand. That Lottery soda, and notebooks and pencils and folders must be flying off the shelves. And to brand the clippers of all franchises, in the vein of success and money, is even more laughable.
