Now that Manny is off the Peds and has lost some speed, power, and nerve, imo, the only fighter between 140-150 that poses a real threat to Floyd is Shawn Porter. Porter would come hard and fast and Floyd would be in for the fight of his life...especially at his age.
Khan would gas out after a few rds when his punches were mainly hitting air.
The Pac that fought a few weeks ago would get white-washed by Floyd.
Thurman too limited and wouldn't be able to hit Floyd.
just like uncle roger did and at his own weight class right.....
Floyd would never have fought Chavez..he would have waited until he was sure Chavez was shot beyond shot then proclaimed Chavez a legend and the toughest fight of his career and beat the corpse of Chavez and his fans would write about their greatest fighter in the history of man kind ***** Jr.
So you are saying that since "intelligent pressure" obviously doesn't work on Floyd, you would like to see how someone with ****** pressure would fare against him?
As I have repeatedly said, Floyd isn't the best defensive fighter in the world for nothing. He won't lose to brawlers of Kirkland's (or Maidana's) caliber.
To answer OP's question: no one. Lara appears to have to the tools, but he is very flawed and I have yet to see the type of complete performance from him that would convince me he could compete with Floyd.
Other than him, Khan could probably at least look like he is in the fight for 3 or 4 rounds against Floyd.
I think that you can't outsmart/out think Floyd so if you want to label it as unintelligent pressure then I'm not going to argue with you. To have any success against Floyd you can't wait on him. Speed kills and he lulls his opponents into fighting HIS fight at HIS pace. You HAVE to be the aggressor and make due with the fact that you will get countered & you will miss a lot of shots but you have to come with that (like I said before) IDGAF attitude. You have to not only be supremely tough but conditioned and confident as well. I see Kirkland as an even bigger version of Maidana with better hand and footspeed. One area that he or a fighter in his mold would have to improve is focusing also on a body attack as well. If you concentrate on headshots on Floyd solely you've already lost. Floyd is 37. He's not been hiding the fact that he's been hurting during snd sfter his last teo fights. Father time eventually catches up with us all. If you make Floyd play a high speed chess match maybe you can induce a mistake and capitalize. I just think a highly motivated Kirkland with Anne Wolfe training him is a very dangerous combination for anyone. I don't think Floyd has enough pop to keep him at bay all 12 rounds. There would definitely be some interesting moments in my opinion.

Reason: Correction
I know Floyd would beat the guy in your avatar....with ease....Manny too.
May beats Pac everytime in your fantasy fight but in real world....the closest we can get to reality if the fight never happened. ..at least Pac gave a one sided beating to their common opponents (Oscar, Hatton, Mosley and Cotto) while them gave your boy a run for his money.
