Speaking with krikya360.com, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer denied a recent story which claimed that he signed a contract extension with Golden Boy Promotions until 2018. In the article, Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya told the Los Angeles Times that Schaefer had extended his contract with Golden Boy until 2018. De La Hoya also discussed the possibility of doing business with Bob Arum of Top Rank.
