      Pretty good Porter-Malignaggi numbers.

Kovalev-Agnew does over a million, Hopkins-Shumenov actually had a good lead-in and loses viewers.

Kinda highlights the smaller audience SHO has compared to HBO.

Kovalev handily beating Hopkins in ratings
So much for the "these guys don't wanna fight some Russian, they want paychecks" excuses

Im more interested in Jennings/Perez, but I do want to see Charlo and Stevenson. Wonder if we get ShoExtreme and they show Jeff lacy, lol.

Edit: I knew Guerrero name looked familiar. That fight is intriguing now, maybe a career ender for him or Lemieux.

As a Kovalev fan, I gotta be honest and say this doesn't really work though. Even though Kovalev garnered good ratings, he probably makes less money than BHOP or Stevenson on SHOWTIME. I'd almost guarantee is.

I'd also guess Stevenson will make more to fight BHOP on SHO than HBO would have paid for him to fight Kovalev.

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather see Stevenson-Kovalev and I'd be rooting for Kovalev just because I'm not much of a Stevenson fan, but SHOWTIME is clearly cutting bigger paychecks these days for the 175ers than HBO was willing to.

So even with the ratings disparity, it's not equaling to bigger paychecks fighting Kovalev.

YAY another ratings thread where fanboys pillow fight over numbers.

On the lead up to Lee/Chavez with no Showtime card on the same day?

I think they might.... it's either a triple header with that or a double header with just Lemuix

These are OK numbers for Showtime, but less then what Hopkins usually pulls. Maybe it was the easter weekend, the UFC numbers on FOX tanked bad for example.
