The "real" list? You mean the list that ranked Robert Guerrero before the Floyd fight and Adrien Broner in the top 5? The list owned and paid for by a promotional company and decided by one man?
Guerrero has a very solid resume with 9 title fight victories, including wins over Berto, Aydin and Katsidis. Up until the Floyd fight he had only lost once and that was in 2005. He was ranked 10th for what like a couple months?
Like that is really saying something.
BTW, the rankings are based on a panel of experts, not just one promoter.
Stop while somebody here thinks you have a shred of common sense.
The fact that no rankings list in the world has GR ranked in the top 3 is all the proof I need to support my opinion.
Go and discredit them all and then I will talk to you again.
well bradley beat marquez who was ranked #3 best fighter p4p ...so rightfully he replaced marquez at the #3 spot...donaire was #5 or 6 when rigo beat him.....and agbeko is a mediocre win.....agbeko had only fought ONCE after losing to mares in 2011 (beat some journeyman)...and he was ranked low at 118.
don't know why people keep putting so much weight on the agbeko win....
yeah but the dude has beaten a young champ rico ramos, undressed a prime top 5 p4p guy who hadnt lost or been in a close fight in a decade, and then beat a proven top guy at 122 in agebako..... And none were close
Rigo may have a very small resume, but its better than most fighters out there.. His undressing of donaire is better than any of wlad's wins, or bradley or froch or mikey, etc......
ya i got to agree a lot of the time those records dont tell whole story i dont like rating someone just on their record or opponents. Most pros will fight 20 or 30 or even more fighters that have literally 0 chance of winning. Rigo was fighting better fighters before he was pro then a lot of pros were fighting at the time i bet anyway

bradley wasn't at number 3 just because of his one win against marquez. (his wins against pac and provo had a lot to do with his high ranking also)
which in realty is down right faulty.............i gave both pac & provo those wins.
and anyone who thinks that beating rios (when he had just took a loss to a 140 alvarado) rates the same as beating agbeko just don't have a clue about the smaller weights.
Do you know how ****** it sounds to rank Rigo #3 p4p when he has one good win? One. And the guy he beat was ranked #5 at the time. How can you beat one guy who is way more proven and leapfrog him into the #3 spot?
Answer: You don't.
Yes, he has an ATG amateur resume and a massive skillset but that doesn't prove **** in the pro game. Let the dude prove something first smart*ss.
I like finding out how sensitive/weak people really are & the overdose on insults says it all; pull your skirt down.
Rigo not only dominates every opponent on his short resume & does it so effortlessly with a skillset that can only be compared to the p4p number one fighter today. He's even the most on par with Floyd defense wise (leading in some categories) according to compubox numbers. If it was a heavy emphasis on résumés then Floyd wouldn't be number one now would he? Also a fair amount of ppl would've never even saw that list in their career.
Btw I won't negative rep you back because unlike you I don't care that much; clown.
Rigo might be the most talented boxer in the world. He hasn't accomplished as much as fighters like pacquiao or may, but p4p isn't necessarily based solely on merit.
I don't have him that high, but I'm not opposed to those who do.
