According to the World Boxing Organization, Golden Boy Promotions beat Top Rank in today's purse bid, earning the right to promote the fight between Gary Russell and Vasyl Lomachenko for the vacant WBO featherweight championship. Golden Boy bid $1,052,500, while Top Rank bid $1,050,000. The WBO was told fight will be held on June 21 in Los Angeles.

Forget Lomanchenko. They are disrespecting pro boxing itself with this dog and pony, WWF bhull doodoo. This is a slap in the face to all guys who have had hard careers, faced hard oponents, and earned a position, recognition. They struggled for the chance at what these guys are being given. It also says boxing fans are ******, if we accept this as a title fight and don't say anything.
