    Feather-fisted = light hands

    Stone-fisted = heavy hands

    Genetics.

he allegedly had a torn calf muscle in his last fight, which is really the only time we've seen him load up like that.

some guys just don't have power. their limbs don't articulate in a manner than generates leverage. they don't have explosive hips.

it takes a special kind of athlete to punch hard. some guys just don't have it. it's not something that's taught.

He's not really "feather fisted". To compare him to Paulie is a stretch.

He dropped Witter like a giant sack of ****. Put Peterson down twice I think? Stunned Pacquaio.

He's a pretty sharp puncher at times but not heavy handed or a finisher.

It is people like Bradley that help to fuel the 'Are punchers born or made?' debate.

He helps prove they are born coz the look of the guy is incredible and he swings for the fences at times but as some guys have said, it doesn't do a thing in his case.
But then you have Kovalev who in comparison doesn't have as impressive a build, but the man takes heads off...

            He's not.....

I think last Saturday proved that he is no longer "feather fisted". It's easy for you to say that if you've never been inside the squared circle. Every punch hurts. Is he a big puncher? No. Has he developed into a solid puncher, yes.

the way bradley trains, his muscles in his upper body may be tight, too tight actually, sacrificing flexibility. those excessive weight lifting made his shoulder muscles stiff. plus little to no proper training with his calves equals no punching power.

A "solid puncher" who threw from the floor and landed flush on pacquiaos chin would have knocked him over. Bradley didn't do ****, Pacquaio wasn't rocked or nothing, he just took it, it made him think and he moved on, and Pac's chin is gone anyways.

Bradley can't punch for **** he has like 1 stoppage in 10 years

Technique. He fights very tight, which is probably why he got injured against Pacquiao twice. Bradley is just too high-strung in the ring. Coupled with his bad technique, it makes him a very mediocre puncher.

His weightlifting has a part to do with it. In addition to his terrible form and genetics. Weightlifting the way that he does is detrimental in boxing (punching power and Stamina) The 2 most ripped boxers i can think of Ken Norton and Mike Weaver didn't touch weights in their primes. I was always taught to avoid them. Some boxers just genetically through the same training get more ripped then others. Just my take on part of it.

Tim and Paulie could go at it for 15 rounds and neither one would would be at risk of suffering cuts, swelling, or brain damage.

The ref could just sit in a corner reading a newspaper while they fought and only gotten up to pick up the mouthpiece of whoever spit it out.

It would be a family-friendly fight.
