You dont seem to understand that Pac is Arum's cash cow and getting humiliated by Floyd back in the time would have meant for Arum an enormous loss of money in the future. All the in-house fights he did, Clottey-Pac, Margarito-Pac, Marquez 3 4, Bradley 1 2, would not have generated a lot of interest after a loss against Floyd.

Bottom line is Pacquiao and Arum were never confident of beating Floyd in a ring, much less confident Manny was drug-free, so they had to sue Floyd and GBP in court for "character defamation" and to delay random drug testing to block the fight from ever happening.

Marquez made Manny realize how important PED testing is for the sport.

You forgot Marquez jumping up nearly 3 divisions and Floyd not making weight ....
Hatton was a 140 fighter. Never looked good at 147.
Mosley was old and inactive
Corrales was weight drained but I don't blame Floyd
Canelo was too green and needed more time to fix his issues. He can't even make 154 easily imagine 152! Weight drained and this was Floyd's fault.

BTW: I have criticized some of Manny's fight selection. So you are totally wrong ... but as far as fighting Floyd, Manny has always wanted it more. Again, go check out the video clips just like you are hanging on to every word Roach says. It's as clear as day, Floyd is NOT interested in fighting Manny!
