They could have accepted the drug testing but I'm not buying that the fight would have even happened anyway. For years and years all we heard from the Mayweather camp was "If you da best, take da test". Then when Pacquiao agreed, it was no PPV or something else or something else.
I don't blame them for turning down the drug testing either out of principle. Mayweather's team went on pretty shameful smear campaign of Pacquaio before they entered into negotiations, sullying his whole career based on allegations with no proof. Why would he then bend to their demands which, at the time, were pretty unheard of in boxing. Why did Mayweather not ask for drug testing in his first fight back with Marquez?
The drug testing is bull**** anyway because it's not year round, it's a publicity stunt. This whole potential fight is hot air which was used to build up both fighters separately.

Pacquiao was the A-side in the first negotiation, you think he's going to bend to Mayweather's will after all the PED accusations they were throwing at him? When all was said and done Pacquiao agreed to all of Mayweather's demands and the fight still didn't happen.

I do believe Arum is a liar, and any offer Floyd made he would have turned it down anyways.
Remember this offer?
x Arum after JMM 3 "we want Floyd".
x Arum next day "Floyd going Prison".
x Criminal Court Grants Floyd May3rd date.
x Floyd tweets Manny, and Calls him.
x Arum "Manny wont be ready till July".
I only blame ARUM and now Freddy says Arum wanted it to be LAST fight proves it.

Does it even matter whos to blame here. This two vaginas pretty much spat on all boxing fans by not making the biggest fight of our time. On top of that they go around cherry picking opponents and using each others name to promote fights to maximize their own pockets. At least Marquez did us a favor by blasting Manny to the moon. The biggest joke of all this is both this fck face fan base arguing mooth points and making excuses for their fighters instead of demanding them to make the fight happen. I guess both fan base are happy arguing the same side of the coin
