Comments Thread For: Pac's Old Trainer: Not The Same Manny of 3-4 Years Ago

ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer has lauded “Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao for his “impressive victory” over previously undefeated WBO welterweight champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday.

Aldeguer who handles reigning WBO light flyweight champion Donnie Nietes and a number of promising young, world championship caliber fighters said Pacquiao “deserves credit for how he’s come back” with two masterful performances against Brandon “Bam Bam”Rios and Bradley following his crushing 6th round knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8, 2012.

pac has grown and mature from a brawler to a fighter and now to a boxer.

In other news, Chad Dawson is not the same fighter he was 5 years ago.

You mean to tell me that a fighter 5 years out of their prime is not on the same level? Who would have thought?

Pretty much this. Although I would change the last one to
              Manny "the compassionate" Pacquiao.

                Pacman evolving

PacMan is not the same of course, his physical tools have diminshed at 80% of what they were, but hes evolving as a fighter, look at Hopkins, hes not the same fighter he was at middleweight, he evolved into a more defensive style, and he can still beat young champs with experience and knowledge, insted of going balls to the wall against young bucks.

I dont mind seeing a new pacman who boxes more..the human thyphoon is gone, he have a NEW PacMan

I loved the "FACE OFF" with Manny and Bradley. Manny tried to say Bradley was running from him in fight one. Kellerman asked Manny was he running when he fought Rios. First he said yes, then he said he was 'boxing." Everybody laughed, and so did I. Manny realizes what all great ones (except Ali) knows. The older you get, the richer you get, you're not the same man. It doesn't pay to get your head blown off to appease the fans. You do what you do to win the fight, whether using you feet or your fists, but always USING YOUR BRAIN! Bradley needs to take notes.
