    Estadio Delmi, Salta, Salta, Argentina - Hard punching welterweight contender Luis Carlos Abregu (36-1, 29 KOs) came back strong after rehabbing a hand injury, and stopped previously undefeated Jean Carlos Prada (30-1-1, 21 KOs) the eight round. Abregu has been inactive for nearly a year, after defeating Antonin Decarie last April. Abregu dominated Prada in the contest and saw himself on the end of a controversial knockdown when he was off-balance in the seventh, but he came back in the eight to pound Prada against the ropes with power punches until the referee jumped in to wave things off.

    People are shook of Abregu and they should be...Bradley is the only man able to best him...bring on Rios, JMM or Pac and let them take a beating.

      bradley used his head more to hit abregu than his fists. nothing special about that win, bradley ducked a glass chin khan at 140 and even admitted it to the media

          You know the truth....Abregu said Bradley is the best fighter he has ever faced and that he will be an ATG.

              Bradley dominated Abregu. He even rocked him in that fight. Pacman fans love to discredit Bradley just because he got a lucky decision. Get over it. He still has a very impressive resume. Abregu was unproven at the time, but it looks like he's actually a pretty good fighter. Similar to his win over Vasquez, Bradley's performance looks a lot more impressive in hindsight.
