I picked Thompson. Although I can see a couple other American fighters beating him, I rate him above them until they prove otherwise. He travels and fights anyone, and at his age, is still proving his worth.

I would have said Andy Ruiz or Trevor Bryan. Out of those listed, probably Wilder. Jennings is okay too. Arreola is a chunkosaurus.

Chris Arreola v Tony Thompson probably determines the No.1 US heavyweight imo.

Pushed to choose one, I'd probably go with Arreola. They should make this bout though.

I like Andy Ruiz but he's not on the voting list.
This young guy is well schooled and has talents and can bring his skills up if he gets serious. I see a plan in his eyes when he fights but there comes a time when instincts must take over and reactions take the place of thoughts.
Atleast he's interesting and I think he has a chance of progression.
No other heavyweight that's out there weither a seasoned pro or up and comer seems to be able to "grow in the sport"!
If this kid could get his weight to stop growing I think he could be fun to watch.
I know he's not from the States but he is North American hahaha.......
his height is ok at 6'2" however his reach is surprisingly short for his height. A 74" will make it tuff on him when he runs into giving away 5 to 8 inches against someone with an educated jab. Then again if you can take the jab away from a jabber your in business! That's one reason I see him as interesting.
