I assume all these guys calling him a 'bum' ARE world-class then are they? What would happen if they got in the ring with Pemberton? Have they ever fought for world boxing titles? If Pemberton's a bum, then what the **** are they?? These keyboard warriors are too scared to even step through the ropes, that's a bum. Cowards are bums, no courage.

Enough said. Mutton chops await you.

Lol, technically I suppose I am European actually. I never thought of it that way.

          Right.

You're European. Something you should not be proud of.

Pemberton's 39 years old, give him a break for these recent losses. A 24 year old Pemberton would have given Lacy a better fight, and Manfredo.

A 24-year-old Pemberton hadn't even had one fight, and was years away from even having one fight.

As far as the "you never played the game routine getting tired"... it always seems that people that never played it are the ones that have a problem with people saying that. I mean, it is real to say A BOXER that is called a BUM on a message board that is accessible by the entire world would have a right to be ticked off when it is said by someone that more than likely never fought a day in their life, No?
that's understandable, but why are you wasting your time on these boards? Are we informed enough to purchase your book? (Which I will by the way) I have nothing but respect and admiration for anyone courageous enough to step into the ring, but on the same note, if I want to make an observation of a fighter that is not positive, I will. I pay my 59.95 just like everyone else. Being a fighter, on it's own, doesn't grant you immediate respect, you also must be a good person and do the right things outside the ring. By the way, I'm not referring to Pemberton or this thread's topic..just in general terms.

as far as my personal experience..if the question is am I a former pro or ametuer fighter? the answer would be no. Have I trained and tried? Yes I have. Unfortunately for me, I was horrible and took a beating in there. So I stopped many years ago, got a job and am now raising my three kids. So obviously my experience fails terribly in comparison to someone like you. I just think an open mind from someone as respected as you would be more becoming than getting into verbal battles with the uninformed.

ps- I can call Mike Tyson a "bum" can't I?
