And when he largely forgotten about, broke in 20 years he will can comfort himself by saying they had to chase me.
Perfect example of the ass clowns that has the nerve to call himself a fight fan. Ironically, I'm sure he has no trouble calling GGG the king of the middleweights when his best win is Matthew Macklin. But Rigo totally embarrasses the hottest fighter in the world and it don't mean ****. And he's likely completely cool with all the guys at 22 ducking Rigo and GGG ducking Ward. No wonder boxing has basically become a cult sport outside of the 3-4 times a year that Floyd and Manny fight. Outside of Alabama football and Kentucky basketball. Boxing has by far the dumbest "hardcore" fanbase in sports.

Those aren't fight fans. Those are guys that spent their childhoods getting picked on and beat up. So they gravitated to combat sports and live out their tough guy fantasies through these fighters. It is 100% impossible to have an oz of boxing IQ and not be in awe of Rigo.

It takes two to tango, if Rigo wants the fights and want to unify titles and have big night, they go after them.

Same for everybody don't expect things just fall into your lap.

Maybe you should watch some dance recitals, I hear the technique and graceful movement is quite enthralling to watch.

            lol

Boxing is such a mess. I love it, but it really is a fringe sport. Where else do the best not compete against the best?

As a huge Rigo fan who lives in the UK... i think Rigo HAS to come to the UK to fight Quigg.

If it happened id be like...

Also from Rigo's point of view it cant hurt to expose himself to a few more market places. The American one clearly aint treating him right

I agree with you that he is #1 pound for pound skill wise......Floyd is #1 based on accomplishments though.....To me theres only one champion at 122 such as there is one at 140 and 147 .......these multiple belts are a joke having unproven bums carrying belts...these fake champions and promoting issues are the ones that create all this dumb debates and fantasy matchups.

I understand tastes, and respect differences in them. What I have a problem with is the utter dismissal of the man -- worse, the instance that he should be suppressed. It's a sad joke.

I rate the quality of the Rigo-Donaire fight at an 8. But "El Chacal's" performance was nearly impeccable. The knockdown off the break being the only flaw. I was at the fight. Guillermo looked like a samurai master that night...a thing of beauty. He beat the best 122 in the world that night, next to him of course. These other pretenders know what time it is.

I've actually supported the idea that Rigo take his show to Europe, Tom. He's not appreciated here in the States. Let him go where people care. He's already traveled abroad, to dismantle Willie Casey. Why not again? I never hear guys like Quigg mention Guille's name. I'll bet that fight would get made quickly if he did.

Here's the thing. Today's fight fans are such hypocrites that it has to turn fringe fans away. Case in point. Right now, most on this site have hopped on the Lara bandwagon. Now, Lara is nothing but a bigger, less skilled version of Rigondeaux. But because Lara fights at jr middleweight, and a very easy and convienent name to plug in to the "Floyd's duckin' ________" campaign, Lara's their guy right now. So at day's end. Its not about a personal taste in styles. Its not even about entertainment. Rigo is a jr bantamweight. So he's not a threat to Floyd, Ward, Broner, and any other fighter these clowns on here hate. So they have no use for him. Likewise, he'd expose all their lil favs in the lower divisions. So its better to just dismiss him as if he doesn't exist.

On a sidenote. Freddie Roach publically admitted that Rigo's skill set is so good that he passed on an opportunity to have he and Pac spar. #nuffsaid
