Molina took the lara fight on 2 week notice after long layoff and still beat him
I got Molina beating Lara again, people hate on Molina because he initiates clinches a lot (not nearly as much as Devon Alexander though, lets keep **** in perspective people) and comes in with his head
I just watched some of his last few fights on youtube, the clinching can get tedious but is blown way out of proportion here on NSB, Pre-Rodriguez Ward, and Devon Alexander clinch as much if not more than Molina does
if anything, Molina's head butting would be more annoying to casual fans if you ask me. Molina's clinching is tactical, he'll come in from the outside and just clinch, then push off and throw shots then move back outside or step to the side and jab or throw overhand rights
dude is a bit dirty but he's ****ing smart, and this is according to Emmanuel Steward...
I just can't think of who's left at the weight, I have no idea.
Who would it be at welterweight?
Who knows? The guy did fight Matthew Hatton and Josesito Lopez.
It'd be nice if he fought at least the loser of Molina/Charlo, if Lara is fighting the winner. I really don't want Alvarez to go from Trout, Mayweather, and Angulo to nobodies.
molina is a bum. lets all hope he loses. but if he does win lara will beat him just like he beat him the first time. how can anyone have molina winning? because of teddy atlas' ******azz scorecard where he gave the first 4 rounds to molina? he wasn't even landing clean. he never landed clean in the fight. lara landed all the clean punches. clean=significant, hugging and mauling=nothing molina just grabbed him and threw hooks that landed on lara's guard. molina got beat to hell in the last couple rounds and avoided the rematch. lara figured out what molina was doing. lara didn't even know how molina fought since he was a late replacement. all that being said i don't want to see that fight. i want to see molina dq'd in the first round for all his clinching against charlo.

I recall giving that fight to Molina by the slightest margin. But you're right, Lara landed the cleanest shots. I thought a draw was a fair outcome. Neither guy did enough to deserve victory, in my opinion. These guys that called that decision a robbery don't know what they're talking about.

emmanuel steward is the guy who designed wlad's current style of clinching anytime someone comes close to him so yea of course he's going to say it was smart. why would he call his own style ****** or dirty?
