I don't get why Khan's getting hate for saying this.

Mayweather had every intention of fighting him. It was only after all the backlash that his team decided it was best to choose Maidana instead.

If Khan beats Broner (or Porter) impressively, the fight has a good chance again of being made, and so why wouldn't Khan want to say and do everything he can to keep that opportunity alive.

because he hasnt earned the right to fight the champ. just like khan is telling brook to prove himself, khan should practice what he preaches.

Khan better look spectacular in his next outing. In fact he better KO Broner if he expects the public to think highly of him.

There's no telling how Broner will do if Khan decides to box from the outside all night.

People in this website kill me...he's actually trying to fight the best boxer in the world by any means necessary and people are on him about that...the same people that sit here and complain that they wish Pacquaio would be more vocal about actually making a fight...that want pacquaio to aggressively pursue a mayweather fight..well fk pacquaio right now here's guy going tooth and nail to get the fight...a fight that can happen and involves no political promoter drama...I commend Khan on this..never liked the guy..think he's got a nice skillset that would've gone further if not for the knockdowns..but props to the motherfcka for doing whatever is needed to get the fight. Fact is FMJ only has a few fights left, if you really really really want it this is how you do it! You have to make some noise so that atleast you'll be in the conversation, if that means he'll get the fight in September than its all worth it a 100%.
I admire hardcore dudes like that he probably will also skip ramadan for a fight with mayweather thats some real resolve.

You're a F****n idiot if you think Floyd called out Shane Mosley on his prime. You're a clown. First if all Floyd doesn't have the balls to call anyone out in their prime, unless they are to young and inexperienced, smaller or one dimensional leading with their chin. Floyd made Mosley & Cotto wait more than 10 years to fight him, waiting for them to have too many wars. Mosley was out fighting a prime Oscar Dela Hoya twice, went way up in weight to twice fight a prime Winky Wright, twice fought a prime Vernon Forrest, both much larger than Mosley. Floyd never called Mosley out in his prime so now go get drug tested you clown.

He actually did call Shane out in his prime and Shane said he had a tooth ache. A list of people Floyd fought in their prime and people he called out as well (by the way, good job making an Amir Khan and Broner thread about Floyd, you love Floyd, it is cool, I'll get you a TMT shirt).

8. DeMarcus Corley (he rocked Mayweather but I guess he was flat footed as well)
9. Juan Manuel Marquez (called Floyd out and Floyd happily took care of JMM the FIRST and only time they fought
10. Ricky Hatton, (didn't have any experience either I assume)
11. Ortiz ( ten years younger than Mayweather, I guess Ortiz didn't have a shot to beat him either, he had speed, power, and decent footwork, well doesn't matter)
