Styles ??? What's the style of Floyd ? Hit an not get hit .
What's the style of Lara : hit and not get hit .
The problem is : Floyd beat the " hype " Canelo , with this style . And Lara does the same to the "the joke " with the same style .
Style : this is plain ducking . Won't pay for this .

canelo doesn't have the stamina to consistently fend off angulo's aggression. too much huggin' during this fight. canelo might gas out in the late rounds

        This!

I dont know how any intelligent knowledgeable boxing fan can say Angulo is a safe option. Angulo has been dangerous to everyone he has faced even in defeat.

Any sports is about the best fighting the best . Look at nba , mlb , soccer , boxing Olimpic tournaments : you have to face the best ; no cherrie picking of opponents .
          I won't pay my money to watch a " ducker " facing a " quiter " , this is a joke .
Entertain me ? I get entertain when I see the best facing the best .
This is a comedy what they are doing to boxing .
The only thing they want is to keep the " hype " Canelo from being exposed again as he was against Floyd . This is about cherrie picking for this joke .
I won't be fooled , not paying for this farse .
Canelo should fight : Lara , ggg . This is real entertainment , when the best go at the best .
Arum and Schaffer : stop this farse .
Why has Lara all of sudden become the boogyman? Don't get me wrong. He's an excellent fighter and a tough nut to crack for any jr middleweight out there. And even though he's Cuban, he's not Rigondeaux. I felt like he was very fortunate to get a draw with Molina. I have no doubt he was headed towrds a KO loss to Angulo. And he ws even with Vanes until the fight was stopped. Even though I think he was starting to pull away. He's a good fighter. But he's not good enough that guys like Floyd nd Canelo need to avoid him at all cost.

Lara is nowhere close to being a Floyd Mayweather. He's a really good fighter ,but it's been proven he's also vulnerable and will get hit. I know Canelo doesn't apply the pressure Angulo does, but he's much more accurate and miles better defensively. Canelo/Lara will happen this year barring a loss from either side.

I agree .. Angulo's style earned him the fight because his style has the potential to make Canelo look the best. Where as with Lara and even Molina if Canelo managed to win he probably won't look great doing so. Lara and Molina are more skilled than Angulo , period...

As much as the purist hate it, what Schaffer said was true.
An exciting loss is much more important and a boring win. If I have to pay $54 to watch a fight, I'd rather watch an Angulo/Canelo fight over a boring Trout/Lara style of fight.

                It's just the truth.

Eh you're kind of right and kind of wrong on this issue. While yes, in other sports the best teams play the best teams because it's in a tournament form, like boxing however other sports strive to be more entertaining.

Would you rather watch a 3-6 defensive football game? or a 35-34 game?
Would you rather watch a 60-68 basketball game or a 100-102 game?
The answer to this is that most people would rather watch the exciting high offensive games, and it shows in the ratings. Hence why there are constant rule changes in all sports in order to try to make the games more offensive. To make them more fan friendly and keep people watching.

In boxing, because it doesn't operate in a tournament promoters simply try to put the fights they think will be the most entertaining and provide the biggest ratings. This typically is the fighter who tends to be more offensive.

Many are writing off Angulo, I am not one of them. Canelo has still yet to be tested by a big puncher, really tested all together, despite his record. It will also be interesting to see the new tools Angulo brings to the table after such a great training camp with Ward and Khan. This aims to be a great fight!
