Another smart decision is not fighting GGG when it clashes with the UFC PPV event, Geale is someone who despite his success, still isnt a household name in Australia, it would have done him no favors at all. Besides, what difference does it make, then or now, Geale is asking for the fight, there is no reason why it cant be made, i think GGG is the best MW in the world and will beat geale, i think Geale should get some respect for wanting to fight him.
Yeah, it's disappointing that Geale - GGG hasn't been made yet, but Geale has ben candid about the reasons and they are fairly legitimate (though the UFC clash one wouldn't really wash a second time - sometimes fights just can't be televised live in a fighters home country).

Certainly Geale seems willing to fight now however, and I just hope that he hasn't missed out on the fight cos HBO already has other plans in the pipeline.

I think what bothers some posters is that there are claims being made by some that GGG is ducking Geale however, which is clearly absurd given the history of the situation.

This looks fairly probable ^. And I'm good with it if it works out that way, though I'm a little puzzled why there's been no Andy Lee announcement yet.

Sad thing is apparently there were negotiations for GGG - Froch before the Groves mando thing came up...but hell, I'm good with Groves - Froch II.

There's also been mention by Arum of the possibility of GGG - Jr, which would take priority over Geale one would assume. As of right now however Lee - Geale - Maravilla seems more likely (with the possibility of Kirkland if one of these falls through).

Geale's the best fight (outside of Maravilla) to be made for GGG at 160, IMO (-alongside Sturm and Quillin which ain't happening). I rank Geale just a touch ahead of the Brit / Irish MWs.

Geale has an excellent workrate, decent enough speed and a lot of heart but GGG will destroy him. He is a step up, I'll give him some credit for this but I ultimately expect GGG to break the chinny mediocre Geale, in to a dozen pieces.

He may have some moderate success with his in and out style but he will get hit at some point and my lawd will that glass he has been hiding quite well lately shatter.

U should check the shit out correctly before talking crap on him again.

His nickname is a Real Deal. He's not a clown but Golovkin is.

He's ready to smash Triple Duck. Just provide him that opportunity not ultimatum.

Golovkin's team has started to do the same shit that Klichko's team has been yet doing for years.

U're probably too ****** to get it.

If he goes through them and wins em all that would be fighter of the year pretty easily

he doesn't like GGG so he's gotta find something negative about his potential opponents ... geale is chinny, martinez will be past it etc.

Also, I don't see Martinez fighting Golovokin this year unless the WBC softened their stance on unification. Hopefully the son is a reasonable person. As for Rubio... the only way to override a mando is a unification.

Well given the fact hes hit the deck around a dozen times and is getting buckled almost everytime out against non punchers would strongly suggest so.
