I'm trying to think about what fight from Floyd's past this resembles. Going through previous fights, Henry Bruseles seems to be a good example. Someone that is going to try to get to Floyd's body to make it a war of attrition. However, Henry didn't do that well, though he tried.

How would you feel about Floyd Mayweather / Mauricio Herrera in september at 147 ? it makes sense to me , Mauricio is coming off a great performance against Danny Garcia and Mexicans always generate crazy PPV numbers in september , i wouldnt mind it at all!

Even though Maidana looked good against Adrien Broner. FMJ is on a different level. I can see FMJ winning every round up to the 12th round to win a shutout win over Maidana. Boxing experts will also know that this fight is a huge mismatch. There simply is no doubt about that. Even though Khan has a glass jaw he is much more of a threat than Maidana is because of his speed and foot coordination around the ring. Khan is the type of fighter that could give FMJ problems in the ring.

Maidana is flat footed and slow. it's an easy pot shot night for Floyd. I respect Floyd's skills but they cherry picking is getting out of control in my opinion. Everybody already knows that Mayweather will win this fight unless Maidana manages to land a lucky shot that will hurt Mayweather. The only thing Maidana got going for him is his punching power and no disrespect to Maidana but Floyd is really at a different level than Maidana is. Maidana is like a B+ fighter in the ring, he hits hard but at the same time he is slow and flat footed. Which means he's the perfect opponent for Floyd when it comes down to styles make fights...
