I like what im hearing actually... mayweather loves to kill guys with kindness pre fight. Its one of his mental traps. Garcia made a point to address even though Floyd was very respectful at the press conference, hes still out to to get floyd beat up.

Another floyd trap is making guys headhunt... but the very fact that garcia mentions cotto and castillo tells me they gonna have alot of body work in their plan, cutting off the ring.. and of course cottos major success.. the jab.

If we're looking at this as a street fight it's a total mismatch... Marcos is a freakishly strong brawler... and since he's a "little guy" he's technical. Of course, the little guys are always more technical in boxing. Chino is no exception.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather ****s his pants the moment Maidana gets all up on his ass.

However...

I expect Mayweather to box with speed and sharpness for twelve three-minute rounds.

This is the only way this fight could be easy money. BUT Floyd is 38, Chino is 30. Chino is training to throw lots and lots of punches for 12 rounds, many of them from awkward angles...

I think the odds are this will be a difficult fight for Floyd, unless he can hurt Chino hitting his body. If this is not the case, he is in trouble.

Mayweather's gonna put the hurt on this dude and pick him off at all distances. Really excited to see Floyd land short crisp uppercuts as Maidana loads up for his slow looping punches. I really can see Maidana getting stopped because of his constant pressure. Most pressure fighters who fight Floyd tend to stop applying pressure after they start getting beat up and discouraged, but Maidana I think has too much heart to stop chasing Floyd which is why I can see the fight getting stopped at some point.
