Anyway this **** happens all the time. Expect a compromise to be reached and the fighters to fight. Floyd isn't losing a $5 million outlay.

none of this matters because both guys will be in 8 oz gloves (regardless) i could see if one fighter was fighting in 10 oz gloves while the other fighting in 8oz..........do you guys realize that these guys spar & train in 16 oz gloves?
ANY 8oz glove will wreck you.
this is literally a petty debate about small padding.

And from Dan Rafeal on espn..issue seems to be resolved
Iole has all the inside info on this, and nothing is resolved, however Ellerbe aid it would be.

[QUOTE=Red Slider;14496512]Then why is Ellerbe saying no to the red ones also?
You know damn wel the commission would have approved them had Ellerbe not said anything. Commission was trying to be Floyd friendly, yet fair to Maidana, hence the approval of he red gloves. The red gloves are the same ****ing gloves, different color.[/QUOTE
Why does it matter. Are the blue gloves gonna give Maidana any special power?
If I was Maidana I'd donate those blue gloves to some MMA gyms because that's clearly what they are.
And about the red ones...Ellerbe is just being a ass-whole. Trying to get under Robert and Maidanas skin.
