Official Mayweather vs Maidana Master Discussion & Postfight Analysis Thread

I'm not just talking about Khan. Devon Alexander dominated Maidana but his fans always come out with a laundry list of excuses.

Well Devon won that fight by a landslide but you can't deny he held for a majority of the fight, and you can't deny that Maidana is a different fighter now. My issue with people bringing up the Devon fight is that they try and point to that when talking about this fight, it's irrelevant.

If Maidana wins, it'll be because Floyd wasn't in shape or the ref was on Maidana's side or Floyd didn't have the right trainer or....

Floyd has a stomach ache and his heart is broken. His head wasn't in this fight.

I expect Floyd to dominate this one. Maidana is too slow. There's always a puncher's chance but with Floyd's defense, I just don't see how maidana can win this one.

I already ordered it on PPV despite the possible one sided fight(It's only 299 pesos in my country which is around $7) ***yes, PPV is that cheap here***

You do have double standards and your assessment of both fighters and of this fight in general are just plain lazy and outdated. You aren't paying attention clearly, the gap between lucas and marcos as far as being polished boxers is much closer than you make it, fighters can get better/worse, and just because you are "supporting" him for the fight doesn't mean those of us who gave him a chance for real, legitimate reasons won't forget that you were skeptical until the last second and didn't give him a shot, in the one sport where you can't count someone out ever. It's funny because sometimes you can be a good poster, other times, you say the most absurd things it's not even worth responding to, I just sit there staring, shaking my head in unbelief.

I said Matthysse is a more polished fighter, do you agree or not? You're acting like I said Matthysse was a master boxer compared to Maidana. Second of all, I explained a long time ago that when I said Maidana had no chance it wasnt literal. Third of all, there's the ignore button if that helps you.

I have been doing some research on the guy fighting Jleon and he actually has a good shot at pulling off the upset. Should be a very entertaining night of boxing for real, one of the best cards of the year. So many storylines to look out for. Broner looking to make a comeback statement against a game Molina, Khan and Collazo going at it and what will happen (should be an explosive fight considering what it means to both) and the main event which is going to be thrilling all the way through. I pity those who are unable to experience the hype of this event. Very excited about Saturday night, could very well be night of the year!!!

PS: Added Dan to the Ignore List. Poor fool is trying to downplay the event in his mind because he doesn't want to dish out the money for the PPV.

WAR MAIDANAAAA BABYYYY!!!! I'm loving this lol. The hype is real and it is making all of these haters uncomfortable and uneasy. It's going to be a historic night on Saturday. Maidana is going to go berserk on Floyd which by itself will be fun to watch. He is going to break Floyd down and break the MayVinci code with brute force.
