They made Oscar and Floyd who they were period. And last time I checked, GBP and TMT promotions still havn't made a legit PPV star
Pacquiao made the right choice and his phone is still open 24/7 for cherrypicker

While it's bad for boxing fans -- had Manny left TR, he'd be giving into Floyd. Or it would at least surely appear that way, even if that wasn't his sole reason for doing so. If I was a superstar boxer, such as Manny Pacquiao, and this other dude constantly trashed me and then demanded I leave my promoter just so I could maybe possibly fight him (and even then there's still no guarantees), I'd almost out of spite just stay where I'm at.
We can speculate all we want on Bob swindling Pac, but at the end of the day TR is where Pacquiao became one of the biggest names in all of sports across the globe. And he amassed a net worth at one time of like 150 mil or whatever, when once he was living in the streets of a third world country ******* cigarettes for resell and selling homemade donuts to get by. Of course there's going to be some strong loyalty there, even if blind.
Bottom line is, if Floyd and his camp really at some point want the fight, all they gotta do is call. I think it's ridiculous that Manny has to cave and cater to another boxer's demands, especially a demand as huge as leaving the promoter that made you into a global superstar.

Good for Pacquiao
most likely leveraged the idea of leaving Arum to fight Floyd as a tool to get Arum to commit to paying off his tax debt in the Philippines. It's pretty obvious the Rios check went to the US IRS. Manny never planned to fight Floyd, and his fans are even happier than before because they can continue to perpetuate the myth that Floyd actually ducked this guy. Floyd defeating, Khan, Maidana, maybe Thurman and Malinaggi would be a nice way to end a tremendous career by fighting young hungry contenders, instead of recycled stablemates.

problem is man, logic and common sense escape some people. in order for manny pacquiao to fight floyd, hes gotta get 2 WW belts in a row with no loss, climb mt everest in 30 minutes, leap off the grand canyon with no parachute, drink 3 gallons of milk in 2 minutes, join TMT and say "hard work dedication" in TAGALOG, then maybe THEN floyd would POSSIBLY PONDER a fight with him. just maybe.
but khan and maidana, eh they earned DEY STRIPES

Good for Manny. And Top Rank. Who needs Floyd? He wont make any money unless he fights Manny for the biggest payday in Boxing history!
Floyds been exposed. Hes fighting Khan for Christ sake. lmfao! Manny still got big paydays. Bradley and also JMM is still on the table and the biggest payday fight out there next to Mayweather and Pacquiao. *** him!
Floyd will always be in Mannys shadows. Always known as the man who would not fight Manny Pacquiao for all the money in Boxing.
