Comments Thread For: Marquez's Return Against Alvarado is a Matter of Finances

The return of former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez will not come cheap. Marquez (55-7-1, 40 KOs), 40-years-old, is certainly interested in facing Mike Alvarado (34-2, 23 KOs), 33, on May 17th at the historic Forum in Inglewood, California. The likelihood of the match is all coming down to a matter of reaching a financial agreement with both boxers.

If it's about money, he'll make more money fighting Provodnikov (who's called out Marquez and TKO'd Alvarado). He's definitely scared of Prov and sees him as a theat if he chooses Alvarado.

Marquez is about to bid himself out of any fight. He's not worth as much as he thinks at all.

He deserves the money ,he's never been KO and still given fighters a hard time and put Pac too sleep at his age ,damn right he does deserve the money. Pac get KO and still making 15 to 20 so why shouldn't he.
