Comments Thread For: Alfredo Angulo: My Capabilities Will Surprise Canelo

LONDON - –Canelo Alvarez will be looking to bounce back in the best way possible when he faces Alfredo Angulo for the pride and glory of Mexico on Saturday, March 8.

BoxNation has added the star-studded Golden Boy Promotions bill to its packed roster, which also includes three world title showdowns featuring Leo “Terremoto” Santa Cruz taking on Cristian “El Diamante” Mijares for the WBC Super Bantamweight title, newly installed WBC lightweight champion Omar “Panterita” Figueroa facing the tricky Ricardo “Dinamita” Alvarez and Carlos “King” Molina will defend his IBF Junior Middleweight title against undefeated fast-rising star Jermall Charlo.

Sparring with a talent like Khan has obviously raised his confidence to another level. War-gulo

Yes yes the lame chin jokes.

I like Canelo. He has a lot of talent for being so young, I don't read much into the Floyd fight because a loss to the p4p 1 fighter at such a young age doesn't mean much.

But I have a real bad feeling about this match up. This will be a tougher fight for Canelo than Floyd.

I was surprised Canelo took this fight, but I guess it's a business move. A fight with Lara would have put him back on track but I don't think he can beat Lara. I think Angulo will slowly wear him down for a late TKO. Work rate for Canelo is still an issue.

Angulo will walk Canelo down and stop him. Hopefully fans will give Angulo his props.

I think Angulo does well early but Canelo will start to take over in the mid rounds.

What kind of talent u mean?
                Being slow flatfooted lowskilled turtle?

Dude is nothing but an overhyped joke.

                And he's done.

They can generate PPV on him or other **** but as a boxer he's already done.

Alvarez is too big for 154 and anytime soon he will be forced to move up straight to the north at 160 to fight a guys like Quillin.

                Trout also schooled him.

                No it won't.

Angulo is going to lose this one on purpose.

I like Angulo but he's well paid to dive on this fight! There's no way GP let Canelo lose again...no way!

                    Reminds me of Baldomir fight!
