About the "careful" matchmaking of Maidana's

give me a break. This guy has been brought in the opponent so many times and upset the apple cart, this is the about the last guy who people would say was being carefully matched. Nobody bats an eye when unknown fighters like Maidana lose or get robbed and go back to their country never to be seen again. Careful matchmaking lol

Maidana did better in the unofficial polls which tells me that a lot of people feel this way but couldn't be bothered to go vote. It may be presumptuous to conclude that Mayweather Khan will necessarily sell more PPV's then as well. I think they better put a high profile co-main event on the undercard if they go with Khan.

Go to youtube and type in "Khan vs Maidana."

Saw it. Yeah Khan showed some skill, but so did Maidana. Every time Maidana had Kahn hurt and tried to finish him, Cortez broke them up. At the end of the day, who now has a championship belt, and who has a suspect chin? Whoever can time Kahn and has any power can hurt him.

Or maybe, boxing fans progressed to the point where we know the difference between a real champion and a paper champion. I'm sorry, iif Paulie Malignaggi KOs a guy. He probably should have never been a "champion." If you get outclassed by Devon Alexander. Beating the guy that got a SD over Malignaggi doesn't make you a top guy in a division. Sorry.

Despite what you may think about Malignaggi, he's a savvy, skilled fighter with a great chin and a lot of heart. His biggest weakness is he doesn't hit hard, due in no small part to his hands giving him problems early in his career. Yet, he's 33-5. Broner's split decision win over him was an eye opener that suggested Adrien might not have brought his power to WW. It doesn't make Paulie an unworthy opponent. Broner was 26-0 before facing Maidana, with 22KOs, so he's not a slouch. Alexander has 2 losses in 27 fights, both coming at the hands of undefeated fighters Bradley and Porter. So he's not exactly a slouch either. Maidana only has 3 losses in 38 fights, with an 81.58% KO record and a belt. Paper champion? Hardly.
