Something about Cotto not shaking his hand and disrespecting him. Point is, an angry Martinez is an extremely dangerous opponent. Watch the Chavez fight to see what I mean.

Martinez has mentioned Golovkin several times in the Argentine media. Most notably he called him the future middleweight king. Because his last fight was in Argentina and has been out of the ring for a year since then, he hasn't had much of an American presence and hasn't been available to American media. So we get the impression of silence.

Well, if Martinez has anything left I expect him to smash Cotto anyway. I never knew Cotto to be someone to disrespect an opponent, which is partly why he's so likeable. I wonder if this "anger" is manufactured for motivation.

          Martinez will defeat both.

He will punish GGG for your transgressions and restore order to the MW division. They can doctor GGG's gloves but they can't doctor his face....the blood will flow and the champ will regain his respect.
Greatest comment of ALL time. WarSergio babay!!!

Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez doesn't have to necessarily fight
Gennady Golovkin anytime soon. Sergio Martinez is 38 years
old, he's already beaten the undisputed middleweight champ
(twice) he defeated the lineal champion Kelly Pavlik in 2010
and he defeated the recognized Middleweight Champion JCC
Jr. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in 2012. Sergio Martinez is a top P4P
fighter and he's already paid his dues in boxing. DiBella's very
focused on getting Sergio Martinez only big super fights, big
pay day money fights from this point moving forward. Cotto's
going to happen this Summer in June then, they are interested
in getting the Saul "Canelo" Alvarez fight at Junior Middleweight
and we got Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao available
also, so, Sergio Martinez has already defeated all of the top 160
challengers, it's GGG's time to clean out the division I would like
to see GGG fight Peter Quillin, Felix Sturm, Dmitry Pirog, Andy Lee
and Daniel Geale. After Sergio Martinez gets his big pay day fights
that he rightfully deserves then, there could be a super fight with
GGG in 2015 or 2016. Check out this youtube video.

I believe Sergio. People keep disrespecting the champ but I have no doubt he will be willing to fight GGG. All this talk of ducking is overblown. Give the man a chance to recover from his injuries. And get that Cotto payday. Can anyone really blame him? Coming off a long layoff and multiple injuries, he's taking on Cotto who is coming off his best performance in years. I swear the disrespect people show for fighters is ridiculous. I'd favor Golovkin at this point but don't count Sergio out. He has the movement and style to give GGG problems

Oh, you mean Cotto who was beyond shot back in 2009 according to BS? Who has never fought at MW. Yeah, that's a really tough defense for the lineal MW champion...
