How can you be elite without beating elites?
How can you be elite when you are constantly and publicly ducked and dodged by every relevant opponent in your division?

Usually this is the point at which the Ward's fans interfere with a GGG thread...

GGG knocks lara out by late ko lara tends to be hesitant in some of his big fights and he got dropped by angulo GGG is a way bigger puncher but great fight

Lets hope this fight happens. Again it could be on HBO since Golden Boy is looking to get back into the good graces of HBO and since Golden Boy doesn't really care much for Lara. If Lara loses they get rid of the headache of him demanding a Canelo fight, if he wins, they take out the guy[GGG] who's been wanting their other champ Quillin.

I can't see why Schaffer wouldn't jump all over this.

Did Cuba have a boxing tradition before the Soviets came along? Which school has been more succesful in the Olympics?

Broner was favored to beat Maidana. Mares was favored to beat Gonzolaz. That's why they fight the fights my man. **** happens. And both their resumes were better than GGG's currently is. He may one day become elite. But hold your horses grasshopper. Let's let him actually beat some of these fighters that will define his "greatness."

Lara knows that fight is not going to happen period.

as long as Espinoza is running things at Showtime HBO isn't going to bit. why would HBO let one of GBPs less popular fighters potentially knock off one of HBO's rising stars?

if Golden Boy won't put Lara in with one of their draws like Canelo why would HBO do the same.

it's not right, I wish the best would fight the best but that's boxing and it's not going to change.

That's the smart pick. But Lara is a very good boxer. He's a very sharp puncher. And he's also very comfortable fighting off his back foot. I think GGG breaks him down and stops him late. But if Lara can hurt GGG or at least hit him with something he doesn't like. He can beat him. Because GGG is gonna need to keep the pressure on three minutes a round every round.
