I think Mayweather robbed himself of the opportunity to legitimately do to Ortiz what Maidana, Lopez, and Collazo did to him.

But because he wanted to cheap shot Ortiz like a scumbag, we'll never know.

Relax your too technical and read my post again slowly. Vic is an entertaining fighter who brings it all the time....that's why I and most fans of boxing wouldn't mind seeing him in against any competitive fighter, be it a tough test, a champ, a contender, a name ..whoever.... Collazo is not past it and just proved it, he also was robbed against Hatton and Berto. Both fighters are good and deserve respect in a win or loss.

Wow..hard to see what's next now for Ortiz. Doesn't seem to have it in him.

And suddenly he's trash? I've said it many times, but it bears repeating... glad I never turned pro. What a fickle bunch of 'fans'. Anyone with a boxing brain knows Collazo is no pushover. I actually thought he won vs Berto. Anyway, maybe one day you 'fans' will learn to stop ganging up on someone who has provided you with a shiiii-load of exciting fights thru the years... win or lose. I won't hold my breath though.

Yeah well I guess we'll find out in the next couple Collazo fights now won't we mr boxing expert? So, tell us, you don't think that was a perfect punch?

Probably too embarrassed to stand up and do the Broner dance, or even worse the Zab Judah. If he attempted to get up he would have been on shaky legs and the fight would have most likely been waived off once Benjie Estevez seen how wobbly he would have been.

Really not a fan of neither. But to be honest it gets kinda OLD seeing u FANS with no boxing experience trying to say who would be hurt and who wouldn't.

I dont care if u punch like Paulie its the punches u never see that do the damage. It sends a shock through your body/brain and your equilibrium goes corky. Was the dude a hard puncher? Maybe not but all his body weight was behind it a long with a good turn of the hips. It would have rocked a lot of fighters. SO please u wannabes stop saying that wouldn't hurt any other fighter u guys are just ******s.

Idk who all has been hit by 8 OZ gloves or even 10 OZ but it hurts. Ive taken my licks and id be a idiot to say that shot wouldn't hurt.

On a side note I believe Ortiz could have at least attempted to beat the count and took the 60 sec rest to see where he was before calling it.

Wow, that does suck though. You would think that he would have extra motivation considering his birthday is tomorrow.

He's fighting Collazo a guy who hasn't won a legitimate fight in years and hasn't looked impressive in years.

He was expected to have no problems at all in this fight and should have been an easy comeback fight.
Most expected a close fight, a couple of the boxingscene writers picked Collazo. He always looked like a banana skin.

Collazo is active and underrated. For a guy with a broken jaw who had been out of the ring for 18 months it was a tough comeback fight.

Juan Diaz had the right approach to making a comeback after a long absence. Take a couple of easy opponents to get back in the groove and gradually step it up.
