    Mike Stafford has two relationships with Adrien Broner ?he is a father figure who has known Broner since he was a child, and he is the trainer who helped guide that kid as he won world titles in three weight classes.

    And so after Broner got knocked down twice and lost a unanimous decision to Marcos Maidana this past December, Stafford was split on whether Broner’s desire to seek an immediate rematch was the best choice.

    Stafford the father figure felt one way. Stafford the trainer felt another.

        What did Broner say? Garcia will handle one argentine and he will handle the other?

        Maidana wins again. But I do give AB props for wanting the rematch.

            Hope Maidana TKO's him this time. I hate what GBP did here, this was not supposed to be an immediate rematch that I know of or have seen reported. Maidana should have gotten the Floyd fight instead.

              so what i took from this interview is stafford thinks broner lost because he got hit with 1 shot early on.

              with a denial attitude like that, broner will lose again.

                what are you talkin about? a rematch clause was in the contract. broner is the bigger draw.

                how about not liking what GBP did in having broner fight a big punching 147 pounder.

                  broner should have had points taken off for ,elbows, holding, fore arms and pushing, these guys are still in denial. best punch that broner landed was after the bell. maidana gonna finish the job next time.

                    These people doing everything backwards. Lol

                    Should've gone to140 from the beginning and let his body grow accordingly. They didn't want no parts of that division tho.
