i'd be shocked if hbo took that fight. they paid very little for the first fight, and this is a much worse fight than the first.

ward gets a pretty good paycheck from hbo now. they'd never put that fight on again after what dawson has become. it would cost them much more than they paid for the first fight.

He fouled so much in the Kessler fight that he would have been DQ'ed anywhere but jOakland.

why doesnt ward stop acting like a little beyotch and move up to 175?

There are money and legacy fights there.

but no, he has to act like the black joe calzaghe hiding out at 168.

Sartison or Truax will fight him.

He should give himself more options if he goes up to 175.

Yeah, Ward would have to sacrifice pay for the comfort of fighting at a 175 vs a guy he already beat. I think its the right thing to do though.

I agree with this....There is nothing left for these three at the weight they're at now. Nobody will beat them where they are so it's time to move up. I honestly wish this ****** "cold war" would end as GGG APPEARS to have the goods, he still needs to have a real big fight in my book at least, for him to truly be in the same boat as Ward, and Rigo..

What fights are there for Ward?
Groves looks like it, but he might hold off on that after a Froch rematch (probably won't happen).
                  Don't know what else
Whoever gets Chavez Jr. first will take a lot off the top for the guy facing him afterwards

But 175 is the move. Better options there.
