I think Hopkins would man handle GGG just like he did Glen Johnson. Too much Movement, Strength, and Defense.

This is Hopkins in his prime the same age GGG is right now. Only man to ever stop Glen Johnson

Triple G is gonna be 32 in a couple of months and we haven't even seen his prime yet. By 32, Hopkins at least had that competitive loss with Jones, and the win against Glen Johnson. Their styles are completely different as well, GGG tends to get hit quite a lot, which leads me to believe he will have a very short career at the top.

With GGGs low level of competition it's hard to get a read on him enough to say he could hang in with that version of BHop. But man does GGG pass the eye test

Highly likely. If Golovkin goes up to like 170 like Winky and Pavlik did, Hopkins schools him. But you know what they'll say, prior to the fight Triple G would kill him, after the fight, Hopkins beat a Middleweight.

I LOVE GGG, but c'mon OP. Prime B-Hop is a finely crafted boxing machine with virtually no holes in his game, besides being susceptible to EXTREMELY fast handed/footed fighters.

GGG made adjustments to land punches on Gabe Rosado. Rosado has a comparable style to Bernard and Golovkin lit his ass up.

The Hopkins that fought Trinidad was definitely good, but he was picking on a little guy who doesn't make adjustments. And it took him 12 rounds backing up the whole time when he's the bigger man.

However, Hopkins likely wins by decision, but GGG lands flush punches on The Alien before the final bell.

But you forget hopkins isnt considered ''prime"in a traditional sense what has made him great is the mastery of his skills and craft thats why a 49 year old hopkins could hang with ggg he knows how to bring out the bad in people and force them out of their confort zone and nulify their best wepon

I support Golovkin 100%, but I don't see how he deals with Hopkins style. Hopkins style is just so effective and disrupting for a fighter like Golovkin. He'll frustrate you, make you wait, possibly foul you, and he does have pop.
