Pac, prime cotto- he fought him after Pac finished him, prime Mosley,Margo, Williams and kostya

Manny on the other hand has fought much better guys not c level like Ortiz and guerrero, he has also chased Floyd for years while Floyd has ducked him

Manny is this generations greatest, no contest

    Anyway I'm off

First if you say such a comment like Floyd fought cotto after pacman finished him then what would you say about hatton? Or Shane or others where Floyd beat and took there confidence out. And your saying Floyd fought c class fighters what is rios? And people act like the boxing game is full of grade A fighter there all C and B fighters bro and Floyd is running out or fighters to fight. But I respect your thoughts cause like I said these are just my thoughts also and I'm not gonna push em down people throats like religion

Manny getting knocked out cold hurt his legacy. Beating Mayweather would definitely lift him back up.

They should fight for e-points, from what I've heard those points are pretty damn valuable for some people these days.

Unfortunately boxing is a business and we forget that as fans sometimes and we wish every fight could get made. I like Floyd and Manny, just hope they fight someday...
Cotto said himself that he was at a better stage in his career before fighting Mayweather especially after he beat Margarito in the rematch. I ain't making an excuse but just repeating what he said. I have always said that the Canelo fight should have been at 154. I want them to fight too but it's all over the place with them. I like Manny but I won't crown him the greater of the two considering it took him so much time to finally, actually do a random blood test AFTER he refused to make the fight happen back in 09 because of it being so close. What fighter/boxer refuses the biggest fight of his career by walking away from the negotiations because of 14 days? To only fight a guy who just lost (Clottey) to a guy you just beat down prior? (Cotto) AT LEAST Floyd has fought guys who come off of wins consistently. Name one fighter he has fought coming off of a loss? Now name some for Manny.

Manny may be the only guy who can actually win rounds against Floyd by volume of punches thrown and landed. Floyd would really have to dig deep in this fight and maybe stand there and trade to win. If it ever happens I think we'll see the best of both guys for all 12 rounds and who knows what happens..I'll take Floyd 115-113 with maybe him going down cleanly in the early to middle rounds on a straight left...

I agree 116-112 worst case. Cause even if there are even rounds there both superstars no there's no I'm a favor the champ or the more popular one so I believe even rounds would be divided. Like first even round they will give it to Floyd second even round manny I believe judges would do that. Just like the oscar fight a lot of oscar rounds he won where the close basically even rounds.

Cotto beat Margarito in the rematch though. Pacquiao wouldn't fight a wounded Cotto at a comfortable weight for him though. Thanks!

When you see the WHOLE article, you have to say Pac is right. And by that I only mean the part that he and Floyd's legacy are already secured and HISTORY is exactly what will be made if and when the fight happens. Now to be honest Pac's legacy will NOT compare to FLoyd's in terms of who they fought and when they fought them!! We can say Pac gave us great fights against the people he did fight, but they still don't compare to the level of Floyd's over their careers.

Floyd is a quick shot or 2 and out. Would he be willing to trade with Manny? Would he have to? Maybe not, but we know Manny would come to win and be throwing punches from different angles and moving and he's willing to take some to give some. That's what makes the fight so intriguing in my opinion.
This is what many floyd fanatics don't seem to grasp. They keep saying that floyd would beat him easily just because JMM gave him trouble. Floyd and JMM although both counter pun chers are 2 totally different fighters with JMM being much more offense minded and willing to take risks that floyd would never! In their last fight JMM had to walk thru hell and back in order to get that KO. Pac is an easy fight for no one. You're going to HAVE to fight in order to beat him.
