    Franklin ‘Jeng’ Gacal, a legal adviser to eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, is urging promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank to free the Filipino star from his promotional contract - so that Pacquiao can move forward and face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in what is certainly the biggest fight in boxing.

    In several recent interviews, Mayweather stated that he refused to make any fight with Pacquiao as long as Arum was involved. Pacquiao's contract with Top Rank expires at the end of the year.

    FINALLY!!!

    someone from pacquiaos team is telling him to take a stand, which he has never done in his life. the rest of team r robots n yes men. all pac needs is some pushing n persuading, so hopefully roach advises him as well to force bob to step aside just for the May fight. cuz the provodnikov doesnt do anything for his career / resume.

              It is in Arums best interest to do so. If Pac has to wait till the end of the contract, Pac will not want to re-sign on with Arum for making him wait. If Arum lets Pac out for one fight, Pac would probably re-sign with Arum. And his financial advisor is urging him so that should be a sign right there that he needs that fight to put his finances back together.

                Mayweather shaking in his boots right now. He got wind of this and signed and finalized khan for may and send finalized contracts to maidana for september already lol.

                    Why is pacquio's advisor urging bob to let him go .. If PAC wants to leave top rank when his contract is up that's up to PAC.. Where does bob fit in that equation ? PAC should leave both of them...
