If boxing is all business, how come the fight that makes the most business sense still can't be made after so much years; Mayweather vs Pacquiao? It seems like personal issues have outdone the business aspect of 'boxing is a business'.
Business in this sense has now been relegated to 2nd place behind all the excuses by PBF and his fan base. A fan base that is not interested in the fight 'cause they, like Floyd, wants to see him retire unbeaten. A fan base that would agree with him even if he made a mistake and said 'today is Monday' when it's actually Sunday. A fan base that, if Floyd asked them 'what day is it today?' they would reply '..anyday you wish Floyd.'

That's why Floyd would get away with all the bull**** he's on..he has support.

But, if we all decide to boycott his next few fights or even one fight, then we'll see the power of the man in the street. I bet we get the fight we want.

SRR oponents had a combined record of 7808 wins versus 2745 losses for a winning percentage of around 75%, coupled with the fact that he fought many of the same boxers twice which really skews the numbers in his favor. Mayweather's opponents throughout his career have a combined record of 1223 wins versus only 196 losses, putting their winning percentage at 85%. It is prizefighting, it is for money, always has been, always will. Only when the stars align, that is when the money makes sense, do we get the superfights, and only then do the prizefighters get to pretend that they are fighting for the glory.

After Lara's performance against Trout(and all of his performances for that matter), he proved he is a class above Canelo, and he's actually fought tough fighters.
