This also tells us that Deontay declined...

Chisora just has to throw a flurry of punches and the ref will stop the fight.
Right, because the ref made Scott go down and not try to stand until after 9, and the ref made Pala stand there taking clean head shots until he slumped into the corner facing away from Chisora seemingly out of his feet, and the ref made Gerber throw less and less and get hit more and more until he wilted - and seemed pretty happy the fight was stopped.

Yeah, Chisora is rubbish and needs the refs to do his work for him, obviously!

First it was Malik Scott, who was counted out by the shady referee even though he beat the count and wasn't seriously hurt. On my card, Malik was ahead in the fight.

Edmund Gerber hurt Chisora with a good shot, Dereck was on the backfoot for the rest of the round to survive. Then, in the next round, Chisora threw a flurry of punches at Gerber. The home ref waved it off and Chisora had another TKO!

Ondrej Pala was doing well in his fight against Chisora. Then, Chisora turned Pala around, and then hit him hard with an illegal rabbit punch to the bottom of the back of his head. The shady ref waved it off - yet another TKO for Chisora!

Will the durable and tough (but somewhat limited) Andriy Rudenko be yet another victim of a shady early stoppage on Feb 15?
I suggest you watch all the fights again, and try watching the bits that were good for Chisora - which was most of the action.

Scott started well but faded by the time he was dropped. You can whine about the stoppage all you like [I too would have liked to see the fight continue but Scott gave the ref the option to wave it off by staying down 'til 9] but Chisora dropped him legitimately and Scott had lost his movement and speed - it was all Chisora by this point of the fight.

Gerber landed a good shot and Chis moved backwards, so what? The other 23 minutes of the 24 they were fighting involved Chisora doing a number on Gerber and he did not protest the stoppage at all - indicating he'd more than had enough.

Pala was the oddest one out of the lot, but again Chisora was winning that battle and Pala seemed to have become a heavy bag by the time he turned away and fell into the corner. I didn't like the rabbit punch but you shouldn't turn your back like that - many refs will stop a fight if you do that - as you are supposed to defend yourself at all times, not turn away hoping for the ref to straighten you out [if indeed you are turn away voluntarily, it seemed to be that Pala was pillaried and crumbled].

That's not fair to Malik Scott, Edmund Gerber and Ondrej Pala. They all deserve a lucky break too.
To me only the Pala stoppage was controversal. Scott had enough and Gerber was totally done when the fight was stopped.
I think its better to stop a fight a lil bit sooner than to late. I dont want anymore brain damaged boxers!
Chisora had a good run 2013 and i hope he continues that way.

chisora's chin has looked a bit more vulnerable in his last couple fights

Should be an entertaining scrap. Hopefully we can get a conclusive finish as I personally have felt Chisora's had a good few gifted stoppage wins in his last few fights.
This shouldn't bode well for the Ukranian
I got nothing to do after work... I'll take a peek myself.
opponent's faced doesn't look too impressive
I think the last guy who fought Chisora stunned him a couple times and hurt him once.... could be interesting

don't know Kudenko, but hoping Chisora wins this
he's one of the guys at HW Wlad hasn't beaten yet
after that water spitting stunt, been waiting for that fight to happen
Wlad would likely be pissed and actually fight hard against him
if it happens, Chisora would try to make something of it unlike Haye
since Chisora tries backing up his talk/antics, he's good for HW boxing
aside from the WBC unification, this is a fight Wlad should go for in 2014

Hopefully the result of this fight doesn't produce a controversy for DelBoy again.

Chisora is one of the guys that should try and get his name in the WBC discussions throughout next year, not that I think he would win it, but still, make it a bit more interesting than Wlad just swooping in for it.

Malik Scott and Pala don't deserve ****. Scott was dumb enough to let the count get to past 9 before he was counted out in the act of rising. Pala decided to turn his back and go for a nap on the turnbuckle. Both of them essentially quit without actually quitting if you get what I mean.

Chisora has put together a really nice career with the Euro title. Props to him for that and facing anyone. But I think all the rounds of getting hammered by Fury and Vitali followed by getting his brains scrambled against Haye have really taken some stuff out of his chin. If he fights Wlad I think he gets ruined completely. It's good for him Wlad's got mandos and he can maybe milk that European belt a little bit and keep his name out by mentioning him and their beef. Even Gerber was a pretty decent name for what it was.
