[QUOTE=lutenco;14092737]BRONER vs BERTO....BUM vs BUM....on ESPN 3!!![/QUOTEi don't think he would go that route as far as taking a Berto fight. If Berto is healthy he is too much for Broner. Berto really looked pretty good against Soto Karass considering he fought most of the fight having to fight with one arm exclusively. Berto would be so much better if he fought smart and used his advantages as advantages instead of giving them up. Same could be said for Broner. But hey "IF" a bullfrog had wings he wouldn't bump his azz all day either would he? I think and I have said this all along, that Broner skipped the JWW division for a reason and there is no reason to think that if he didn't fight there coming up in weight that he would go down in weight to fight there especially coming off a loss such as the one Maidana handed him. By the way where has this guy been? Was he just released from the hospital? Seems that considering how he left the ring without addressing the fans or media besides that short dressing room interview done after showtime was off air, that he would have been come out and talked to the media. Strange since before the fight everwhere you looked there was a quote from Broner about this and about that and about how he is about to take over the sport of boxing etc etc. Guess Maidana took his gift of gab from him. Hell when Ali lost his first fight he still was talking himself up but I guess that's because Ali knew he was guinuenly special and still a force.

Adrien Broner can only go as far as he believes he can go. If he really believe in himself and believed to be in control he would had beaten Maidana. A lot of people talk about the beating Maidana put on him, but Maidana didn't take him out and was getting tagged with some lead.
I challenge the average poster around here to actually watch the fight, notice that the fight wasn't as much of a one sided beating as hyped up it seems to have beenLast edited by SlyRaccoon; 01-02-2014, 06:21 AM.

"Like nothing happened"
That is Broners problem, if he genuinely believes that his loss was nothing and he can return without at least even thinking what could possibly change then it will probably happen again.
He should learn from it and come back better, not carry on thinking he is above it all.

"But as far as Adrien is concerned, he still has a lot to learn. When I spoke to him after his fight, I said you're gonna have people that like you, you're gonna have people that dislike you. The thing is this, I have fans that like me and I have fans that don't like me, but you're going to respect me. Once people get to throwing bottles and throwing beer on you, throwing different things at you at the fight, you're losing respect from the fans." - Floyd Mayweather Jr.
