Why does Martinez have to be less than 100% for Cotto to win?

When you going to update your sig? You of all people shouldn't be talking negatively about another boxer when you won't acknowledge your favorite fighter lost.

Margarito was 110% BTW, had a little extra.

And Cotto has beaten fighters at 100%. So he beats Sergio? I thought so.

I couldn't disagree more, my predictions and betting has been so pish lately I genuinely think I am cursed.
Maybe I am just not studying the fighters and such as much as I used to, IDK.

Hard to say regarding the latter it only went like 3 rounds didn't it? But he certainly looked good and re-energised.

I really do hope he is at least competitive though. I just think Sergio is so wrong for him. Fleet-footed southpaw with size, length & speed.
Trout was digging that straight left to the body and it really slowed Cotto and Serg loves that shot.

Thing is, Martinez is not as good as some believe he is. What are his best wins? A victory over Pavlik who was struggling with alcohol addiction? Over weeded up version of Chavez Jr that as soon as he let his hands go battered Sergio around the ring like a ragdoll? Or was it against PWill who while good was as vulnerable a fighter as you could find and struggled against Ishida. In fact, Chavez Jr beats Martinez in a rematch if he lets his hands go from the opening bell.

Cotto's resume and opposition are far better. Cotto will hurt Martinez and beat him via UD. Whether he is 500% percent or a 100%.
Donaires resume was better than Rigos. but his resume didn't do schit. Cotto has trouble with bigger fighters. Every time.

Yes, he was, as was Chavez, and Pavlik at Middleweight.

"Golovkin" is just a hater trying to downplay his resume by copying and pasting the same material from pretty much all of his posts.

Foreman was losing with bionic knees if he wanted them. Had nothing to do with him losing, lost every round before he got hurt, and got stopped when he couldn't move away from Cotto.

I acknowledge Erik Morales losses all the time. Abner Mares too.

Saul isn't even close to being in my favorites.

Just remembered that from the Trout fight. I'll need to rewatch this fight tonight now

Roach seems to think he has the gameplan to beat Martinez. Very curious to see what it is as Chavez Jr. obviously was too big and bulky to accomplish it except for the 12th.

Cotto would not even beat a 80% Martinez, I think you are getting confuse with people talking about if Martinez knee can hold up.
